Learning valuable experience

This week we had Éoin, a 5th year student from Colaiste dun Iascaigh, Cahir working in the Clonmel office as part of his Links module. He been given a chance to work in a number of different departments so that he can see how each department operates and help him gain an understanding of how CET Connect works. We are hoping Éoin has experienced everything he was hoping for and wish him all the best in the future.

Éoin has wrote a small piece about his time here in the office.

I enjoyed my time doing work experience here at CET Connect. I got to experience what it is like to work in an office. On Monday I was shown around the office and met all of the staff. Then I sorted out the employee files. On Tuesday I was marking off drawings. I was shown how a job is planned and how all the costs are added. On Wednesday I archived the files in store room, I was shown how to order office supplies and how expenses are dealt with. On Thursday I put the quotation files in the project folders. Overall, I enjoyed my time here at CET Connect. Every member here has been really nice and I have had no trouble working with them.
